Can’t Access Google Analytics

Uh oh…for some reason, you have a Google Analytics account, but you can’t access your account? Actually, this problem is much more common than you might think. Here are some options for you if you can’t access Google Analytics:

  • Talk to someone else at your company that might have access
  • Talk to the person or company who last helped you with your website marketing
  • Talk to the person or company who built your website

I Really Can’t Access Google Analytics…What are my options?

  • Option 1: If we were given access to your website, we could create a new Google Analytics account, remove the old Analytics code and then install the code again with information from your new account.
    • The good news is you would start gathering data again
    • The bad news is you would lose all the data from your old account
    • Please contact us if you would like Sebo to help you with this
  • Option 2: If we were given access to your website, we could create a new Google Analytics account, leave the old Analytics code alone, and then install the code again with information from your new account.
    • The good news is you would start gathering data again
    • The bad news is you would start gathering data in 2 separate accounts. If you ever got access to your old account, you would have all the data for your website
    • Please contact us if you would like Sebo to help you with this
  • Option 3: Talk to everyone that might possibly have access or have created your account
  • Option 4: Go to Google Analytics, and try logging in with as many Google accounts that you can think of.
