In order for us to maximize your SEO and PPC results, we will need access to the following resources:
- Google Analytics
- Tag Manager
- Search Console
- Your Google Business Profile (Google My Business)
- Your website backend (WordPress, SquareSpace, Shopify, etc.)
- Google Ads
If you already have an account and are trying to grant access, continue reading for a step-by-step walkthrough on how to do so.
Google Analytics (GA4)
- Log into your Google Analytics account
- Select “Admin” at the bottom left corner of the page
- In the Account section, select “Account Access Management”
- Click the ‘plus’ icon in the top right hand corner of the page.
- Enter the Email address you would like to grant access to
- Select “Administrator”
- Finally, click “Add” at the top of the page
Google Tag Manager
- Log into your Google Tag Manager Account
- Click the “Admin” tab at the top of the page
- Select the “User Management” tab in the Account section
- Click the ‘plus’ icon in the top right hand corner of the page.
- Enter the email address you wish to grant access to
- Check the box next to “Administrator” to grant administrator level access
- Click the “Set All” in the ‘Container Permissions” section
- Check all of the boxes
- Click “Done”
- Click “Invite”
Google Search Console
Search Console can be a little bit tricky to set up, so we have included steps on how to do so. If you already have a Search Console account set up, feel free to skip to step 5.
- Perform a Google search for “search console”
- Select the first result (“Google Search Console Tools”)
- Click the “Start Now” button
- Enter your URL into the text field in the “Domain” window
- Follow the steps provided to obtain a DNS for your domain
- Make sure your domain is selected in the top-left corner
- Select “Settings”
- Select the “Users and Permissions” section
- Click “Add User”
- Enter the Email address you want to add
- Select “Full”
- Click “Add”
Google Business Profile (Google My Business)
- Log into your Google Business Profile
- Select the “Manage Users” tab
- Click on “Manage Users” in the top right corner
- Click the “Add Users” button
- Enter the name or email address of the new user
- After adding the new user, select “Owner” from the dropdown menu
- Click “Invite”
WordPress
- Log into your WordPress account
- Click the “Add New” button
- Fill in all of the required information
- From the “Role” dropdown menu, select your desired level of permission
- Click “Add New User”
Squarespace
- Log into your Squarespace account
- Select “Settings” from the side menu
- Select “Permissions”
- Select “Invite Contributor”
- Enter the name and email address of the contributor you wish to add
- Select your desired level of access
- Click “invite”
Shopify
- Log into your Shopify account
- Click the “Settings” button
- Select the “Users and Permissions” tab from the side menu
- Navigate to the “Collaborators” section
- Make sure the “Only people with a collaborator request code can send a collaborator request” option is selected
- Copy your “Collaborator Request Code” and send it to your contact at Sebo via email. They will use the code to request access to collaborate on your Shopify site.
- You will receive an email from Shopify saying that “Sebo Marketing Shopify partner requesting access to your store”
- Click “View Request” and then “Accept”
Google Ads
Google Ads is a much simpler process than the others. All you need to do is find your Google Ads ID number, provide it to us, and then watch for an email that will grant us access to your account.
