Utah Web Applications
What do you mean by a Web Application?
A Web application (commonly known as a Web app) is an application that is accessed with a Web browser over a network such as the Internet or an intranet. The ability to update and maintain Web applications without distributing and installing software on potentially thousands of client computers is a key reason for their popularity. Web applications are used to implement Webmail, online retail sales, online auctions, wikis, discussion boards, Weblogs, MMORPGs and many other functions.
What's the Difference Between a Website and a Web Application?
The primary difference between a Web application and a Website is that Web applications are very dynamic and changing, and they often require users to login to get to special pages on the site. Websites typically are pages that you can browse and look around without logging in.
Think about online shopping. You might go browse an online store and find some products that you wish to purchase. Once you start the purchasing process, there are forms, information, and a very different process than pure Web browsing. The store is an example of a Web application.
Other examples of Web applications include forums, blogs, community sharing tools (like www.youtube.com), and online versions of popular software. For example, you likely have Microsoft Word and Excel on your home computer. But what if you are on vacation and you don't have access to your home computer? Microsoft has a Web application called Office Online that allows you to use Microsoft Office® over the Web.
Does Sebo Marketing have Experience Building Web Applications?

In other cases, we will coordinate work with outside firms to ensure that our clients get the Web application that will help them become successful. We would love to talk with you about your Web application needs.
